Dear Members,
We are pleased to announce that Congregation B’nai Zion and Temple Mount Sinai have agreed to work together toward the education of our youth. This past year, combined with Temple Beth El in Las Cruces we launched a joint High School education program – Teen Tzion, where our High School aged students have been studying Zionism and Israel together with our Rabbis and Temple Beth El’s youth leader, Amalia Zeitlin. This program is sponsored by the Jewish Community Foundation of El Paso.
On the coattails of this success, this fall, Congregation B’nai Zion and Temple Mount Sinai are expanding our combined programming to include our elementary and middle school students. All member families will be able to enroll their students in the Floyd S. Fierman Religious School at Temple Mount Sinai which meets on Sunday morning and all enrolled families will be able to enroll in Congregation B’nai Zion Talmud Torah’s Hebrew intensive which will meet at Congregation B’nai Zion on Wednesday afternoons.
